Barry D. Maxwell

Mr. Maxwell earned his law degree from Nova University School of Law in Fort Lauderdale in 1987. Previous to this, he completed his undergraduate studies in criminal law at the University of South Florida. Mr. Maxwell consistently stays current in the legal field through continuing education. He also maintains membership in professional legal organizations, including the Palm Beach Business Associates, and he is on the board of directors for the Florida Community Alliance.

With a professional background that includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Pasco County and working as a Florida Assistant State Prosecutor for 18 years, Mr. Maxwell has gained comprehensive experience practicing law from all sides of the system. He is able to offer his clients practical insights to help them achieve fair results for their criminal law cases.

Mr. Maxwell has been a Florida resident his whole life. He and his wife have two children. As a father, he can relate to the concerns of parents who are fighting to protect their children’s rights. When he is not helping clients or spending time with his family, Mr. Maxwell enjoys golfing and boating.
